Job Purpose – To provide technical expertise and support for the Waste Logics software suite. To perform any technical configurations required for onboarding and existing clients. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Provide 2nd line technical support to clients, partners and internal users as part of a multi-tiered support team.
- Manage the ticketing system and ensure the library of queries and resolutions is kept up to date.
- Built, maintainA, and optimised complex SQL datasets for use in business intelligence reporting.
- Direct coordination between customers and 3rd parties
- Assist in problematic network investigations
- Deliver regular and customised training to teams within the business
- Ad-hoc database querying and log analysis
- Support the development team in the creation of hotfixes, utilising GitHub for version control.
The successful candidate will be proactive in managing their own workload while under pressure and is comfortable self-motivating in a remote working environment. You’ll be required to bring a logical approach to software solutions and problem-solving and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
We’re not looking for a seasoned programmer, but you’ll need a solid foundational knowledge of development technologies and processes.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum 2 years experience working in 2nd line application support or similar
- Previous experience working in a SaaS business environment
- Complex SQL script writing (Postgres preferred)
- Strong foundational knowledge of web development technologies and languages (Achieved through education or work experience)
- Exposure to troubleshooting computer networking problems
